Senior Business Analyst

Permanent, 35 hours per week (Monday - Friday)

We are looking for dynamic Business Analysts to develop solutions and support our business change delivery as a result of our rapidly growing business. You will be joining our skilled Transformation & Change team in our Edinburgh office to analyse business requirements, impacts and investigate alternative options.

In this hugely influential role as a Business Analyst, your past experience will allow you to put your own unique stamp on this position as you consult with our Transformation teams and various stakeholders to evaluate our models and innovate change processes.


Your Role With Us:
* Consult with key partners to understand, explore and challenge business issues;
* Identify underlying root causes and recommending a course of action;
* Ensure documented business requirements and implementations accurately translate into solution options (and system requirements);
* Shape business solutions for processes and operational changes through applying analytical methods and techniques;
* Document business solutions and articulate proposed benefits, costs and risks in line with agreed format and quality standards;
* Interpret legislative and regulatory requirements to assess wider impact on business processes and system solutions;
* Support and contribute to business acceptance testing activities, strategy and plans;
* Own the point of contact position for escalations surrounding issues arising from testing activities.

What We're Looking For:
* A strong Business Analyst background within financial services
* A great business knowledge and broad awareness of the financial services industry and regulatory environment
* A natural at systematic, disciplined and analytical approach to problem solving
* Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to influence all levels of stakeholders
* Excellent attention to detail with a knack for fact-finding and making evaluative judgements
* An understanding for financial considerations and impacts
* A confidence in applying various methodologies, analytical and process engineering tools
* A knowledge of techniques for presenting analyses and information data are a plus
