💷 Up to £38.00 per hour (Umbrella)

🔎 About the Role

Join Devon County Council's Children & Families Service, supporting children, young people, and families across one of England's most beautiful counties. This role focuses on child-in-need, child protection, court work, and looked-after children-building meaningful, restorative relationships that promote safety, stability, and long-term positive outcomes.

📍 Locations Available (Countywide)

• North & Mid Devon: Taw View (Barnstaple) / Phoenix House (Tiverton)

• South & West Devon: Follaton House (Totnes)

• Exeter & East Devon: County Hall (Exeter) / Phoenix House (Tiverton)

📌 CVs MUST include a completed Devon preference grid to be considered.

🏡 Working Pattern

• Hybrid working: office + home

• Must attend office 1-2 days per week (including duty days)

• Must be available to visit children & respond to service needs

• Driving licence + car required 🚗

🧠 Key Responsibilities

• 🧒 Manage CIN, CP, court & LAC cases

• 🔍 Complete assessments, safety planning & risk management

• 🛡️ Safeguard children and support families using a strengths-based, restorative approach

• 🤝 Work in partnership with multi-agency teams
