Join us and help shape a world‑class supply chain
At Guidant Global, we're proud to partner with Airbus to bring skilled professionals into a collaborative, forward‑thinking environment. We're looking for a Supply Chain & Quality Manager (SCQM) who will play a key role in ensuring high‑quality, on‑time delivery of products across a diverse supplier base.

If you're an excellent communicator who thrives in a fast‑paced, autonomous role-and you enjoy working closely with suppliers to improve performance-this could be a great opportunity for you.

What you'll be doing

As an SCQM, you'll oversee supplier performance throughout both development and serial production phases. You'll act as the key link between Airbus and its suppliers, helping to secure quality, maturity, and delivery targets.
Your responsibilities will include:

Supplier & Product Surveillance

  • Implementing procurement and supplier‑development strategies.
  • Defining and managing surveillance plans for each supplier and product.
  • Ensuring supplier compliance with all requirements, standards, and quality expectations.
  • Identifying risks, tracking actions, reporting progress, and escalating issues when needed.

Quality Governance & Continuous Improvement

  • Applying and promoting Airbus SC&Q standards, including APQP, control plans, and problem‑solving methodologies (8D/9S, Ishikawa, 5 Whys).
  • Supporting audits, first‑article inspections, product assessments, and process reviews.
  • Leading or contributing to improvement projects such as recovery plans, transformation initiatives, and supplier development programmes.

Securing Supplier Delivery Performance

  • Monitoring supplier delivery data, including Conformance and Quality (CnQ).
  • Protecting Airbus production by preventing and resolving issues before they affect operations.
  • Conducting root‑cause analysis and driving corrective actions.

Managing Non‑Conformance

  • Handling non‑conformance notifications, concessions, and quality survey reports.
  • Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure robust quality and safety practices.

What you'll bring

We welcome applicants from a range of industries. While qualifications are valuable, relevant experience is the top priority.
We're looking for someone with:

  • Strong supply‑chain experience (essential).
  • Good foundational knowledge of quality processes.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Confidence working autonomously and managing complex topics.
  • Familiarity with problem‑solving tools (8D, 9S, Ishikawa, etc.).
  • A customer‑focused mindset with the ability to build strong supplier relationships.

What's in it for you?

  • Competitive pay: £27.66 p/h (PAYE) or £37.00 p/h (Umbrella).
  • Flexibility: 4.5‑day working week with adjustable hours.
  • Development: Exposure to cutting‑edge supply‑chain and quality methodologies used across Airbus.
  • Impact: Direct involvement in key programmes, supporting performance, safety, and operational excellence.
  • Collaboration: Work with a diverse, international supplier network.

Ready to make an impact?
If you're passionate about supply‑chain excellence and enjoy making meaningful improvements in a global manufacturing environment, we'd love to hear from you.
