Hours are between 8am - 6pm (No Shift Rota)

We are looking for Team Manager to join our Administrative team in Reading. The role will entail inspiring and leading a team of Customer Service Consultants to achieve service levels and key objectives within Operations. You will be responsible for customer service delivery and all aspects of people management and development.

This role falls within the FCA Senior Managers and Certification Regime. If you are the successfully appointed candidate, you will be operating in a role that is deemed to be sufficiently important that my client must assess your initial and ongoing ability to meet the requirements of the regime. Your Role With Us:

* Lead, motivate, develop and inspire team members.
* Full understanding and application of all relevant Company procedures (for example Health and Safety and Human Resource policies).
* Ensure Performance Management system is operating effectively and that all people processes and procedures are followed.
* To ensure operational compliance with Company, regulatory and legislative requirements.
* Act as a point of escalation for complaints as and when required.
* Make decisions in line with Treating Customers Fairly principles outlined by the FCA.

What We're Looking For:
* Relevant specific qualifications as required by the business i.e. Attain CF1 and FA1 & 2 or equivalent to obtain Overseer status
* Proven people development and management capability
* Ability to motivate, coach and influence colleagues
* Analytical skills and root cause identification
* Problem solving and decision-making skills
* Open minded approach to dealing with ideas and suggestions from colleagues and customers
* Can contribute to good working atmosphere within own team and in dealing with customers internally and externally
* Understanding and attainment of regulatory and Company requirements
* Minimum of 2 years relevant people management experience
* Relevant industry / financial services experience
* Understanding of regulatory requirements - financial qualifications desirable
* Ability to produce and analyse statistical information
