Team Manager (Back Office)
Full-time - Reading/full remote work available - Permanent 37.5 hours per week
Start date: ASAP
Salary: Up to £34,241 depending on experience
We're looking for confident and experienced team managers, with a wealth of experience within the finance sector with knowledge of FCA regulations, strong communication and leadership skills that is ready to lead our back-office admin team in one of the UK's leading life and pensions firm.
Your Responsibilities:
- To ensure operational compliance with Company, regulatory and legislative requirements.
- Act as a point of escalation for complaints as and when required.
- To continually monitor and challenge performance to improve customer experience and drive efficiency.
- Continually review team achievement against objectives, identify variance with target and be proactive in taking appropriate action to ensure delivery to required SLA standards.
- Actively manage, coach, and appraise the performance of all team members, resolving performance issues promptly and providing the climate and motivation that encourages all team members to deliver to their full potential.
- Achieve and maintain Overseer competence under FCA guidelines.
Your Competencies and Past Experience:
- Strong and proven experience within a team management position, providing coaching and leading a team
- Experience of working with Continuous Improvement and/or Journey Redesign methodologies to manage capacity and deliver high quality output would be an advantage
- A passion for detail and accuracy is also important.
- Experience within call centre management, especially the financial sector.
- Strong people and communication skills
- Complaint and escalation handling experience
