We are looking to recruit a Money and Debt Advisor.

You will increase successful tenancies amongst Hyde's high risk residents through the provision of a time-bound, holistic, assessment based advice and support service to Hyde's residents who are at risk of tenancy failure (and/or have vulnerability) to ensure that they can maintain their key tenancy obligations in the medium to long term.
Duties of a Money and Debt Advisor:
- Provide professional, expert, confidential money and debt advice to Hyde residents to resolve crisis money management issues relating to their tenancies (rent arrears) and using external partners for other financial difficulties as appropriate.
- Provide relevant financial capability support to residents to increase their financial resilience and ability to maintain their tenancy in the medium to long term.
- Work directly with and manage a caseload of residents, completing an individual time bound tenancy support plan.
- Work with residents and the welfare benefits team to ensure that eligible benefits to increase residents' levels of financial stability by sourcing grants and benefits.
- Assist residents to have an understanding of their rights and responsibilities in relation to their tenancy agreement.
- Deliver support to residents through a range of channels including face to face, telephone and digital media.
- Undertake face to face work at a range of locations including home visits, community locations and local Hyde Group offices when restrictions are lifted.
Please note: We are looking for experience in this field or similar.
If you are applying from the Peterborough area, a car would be needed.
Travel in both locations will be needed after restrictions are lifted.
