Applications Services Manager

12 months fixed term contract. Hybrid - 2 days per week in Dublin city centre office.

Role = to effectively manage all change requests for the core enterprise software application platform from the business through to implementation.

Reporting into the Change Director, you will be tasked with the following:

• Act as the key interface between the Business & Application Vendor, regarding the provision of on-going Data and Application services
• Supporting end-to-end delivery of Technology solutions - shaping delivery strategy, advising on business and technical requirements, managing all change requests through testing to implementation
• Driving Continuous Service Improvement
• Managing the End to End Delivery of Application Services
• Incident Management and change management - related to the core Enterprise Application
• Change Management & core Vendor Management
• Manage internal & vendor resources to effective delivery of all change requests - business and Applications
• Serve as a Trusted Advisor to the business stakeholders, while operating as the main interface to the software applications vendor

Experience required:

• Excellent people management skills- demonstrable capability in developing people
• Previous experience within Applications Release Management & Project Management
• Software Vendor Management
• Excellent Stakeholder engagement and stakeholder management skills
• Experience in implementing standards-based IT management frameworks (ITIL, etc)
• Proven expertise in Business Applications Service Delivery & Change Management
• Ability to manage an Enterprise Application Change requests environment
• Experience in working in a multilingual, multicultural environment
• Software development lifecycle processes

Any expertise of insurance systems, enterprise financial services software applications or any experience of working in the insurance industry, preferably in a cross-border business environment is highly desirable.

Salary: €75-85K + bonus.

Location: Dublin City centre (2 days per week min)
