This full-time social services role offers a salary of £27,741 to £30,451 and fantastic benefits for your dedication to this community.
Some of your Childcare Worker duties will include:
- Forming trusted relationships with young people in your care by supporting them with their social and emotional development and educational achievement
- Finding and using creative ways to communicate with children
- Working flexibly and innovatively to meet the changing and challenging needs of the children
- Setting boundaries and bringing consistency to children's lives as any good parent or role model would
We are looking for a compassionate Childcare Worker who demonstrates patience and resilience, with the capacity to connect with teenagers. You will need previous experience of working with young people in a Residential Care Home or similar setting. You will also require a full driving licence and access to your car. A car will usually be provided while on shift. You will be expected to work shifts including evenings, weekends, bank holidays and sleep-in duties. Additional payments are paid for out-of-hours work.
