We are seeking an experienced Senior Social Worker / Advanced Practitioner (Grade 10) to join a supportive and forward-thinking Children & Families Service in Staffordshire. If you're passionate about strengths-based practice, early intervention, and supporting families to thrive within their communities, this role is for you.


🌟 About the Role

As a Senior Practitioner, you will play a key part in delivering high-quality social work practice, supporting colleagues, and driving positive outcomes for children and families. You will:

  • Carry out a range of social work interventions using a restorative, strengths-based approach.
  • Support families to develop their own plans through Family Meetings and Family Group Conferences.
  • Provide high-quality assessments and reports for court, child protection conferences, and statutory reviews.
  • Review and monitor children and family plans to ensure aspirational outcomes.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with families, colleagues, and partner agencies.
  • Maintain client records in line with organisational policies and ICS requirements.
  • Contribute to policy development and new initiatives within the service.
  • Uphold the BASW Code of Ethics and Social Work England professional standards.
  • Deputise for the Team Manager when required.
