We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Social Worker to join the Children's Services team This temporary, full-time role provides the chance to make a significant impact on the lives of children and families in the community. Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a caseload of children and families with complex needs, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Conducting assessments, developing care plans, and ensuring timely intervention where necessary.
  • Working closely with multi-disciplinary teams, including health professionals, schools, and other agencies, to deliver a holistic approach to support.
  • Attending and representing the local authority in Child Protection Conferences, Court Proceedings, and Family Meetings.
  • Providing advice, guidance, and support to children, families, and carers to promote positive outcomes.
  • Maintaining up-to-date case records in line with statutory requirements and best practice.
  • Contributing to team meetings, case reviews, and ongoing professional development.

You will have the opportunity to work compressed hours, with a nine-day fortnight schedule, allowing you to enjoy a day off every other week.

Education: Qualified social worker experience (excluding those undertaking ASYE)
