Supply Chain and Quality Manager

Location: Onsite at Rolls Royce (working for Airbus), Derby, DE24 9GJ

Hours: 35 hours per week (4.5 days, flexible between 7am - 7pm)

Pay: £30.64/hr (PAYE) or £41.00/hr (Umbrella)

Clearance: BPSS+ (completed by Airbus Security)

About the Role

Join Guidant Global as a Supply Chain and Quality Manager, working onsite at the prestigious Rolls Royce facility in Derby for Airbus. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in ensuring operational excellence across supply chain and quality management, supporting world-class aerospace projects.

What You'll Be Doing

Supply Chain Management

  • Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement
  • Analyse load and capacity to ensure readiness and resilience
  • Manage supply chain intelligence and support work transfers
  • Oversee design change industrialisation

Quality Management

  • Lead non-conformity eradication and corrective actions (Events / SARI / QSR / Concessions)
  • Implement and manage APQP and quality improvement plans (SQIP)
  • Champion a culture of prevention and quality excellence

Risk Management

  • Identify and assess risks, developing and executing mitigation plans
  • Ensure robust governance and compliance with safety and quality standards

Collaboration & Communication

  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across Airbus, Rolls Royce, and the wider supply chain
  • Communicate proactively and efficiently, ensuring clarity and alignment

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in supply chain, manufacturing engineering, and quality-ideally within aerospace, aviation, manufacturing, or automotive sectors
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Industrial background and understanding of safety and quality topics
  • Data analysis and reporting capability
  • Practical problem-solving and crisis management skills
  • Project management experience is a plus

Experience is valued over formal qualifications for this role.
