💷 Pay: Up to £33.30 per hour (umbrella)

Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of adolescents? 💙 Stoke-on-Trent City Council is looking for a dedicated Advanced/Senior Social Worker to join our Corporate Parenting Adolescents 14-17 Team.

Your Role:
As an Advanced/Senior Practitioner, you will:
- Lead the Pathway Planning process for adolescents transitioning to adulthood 🛤️
- Provide high-quality advice, guidance, and practical support to help them achieve their aspirations 🌟
- Contribute to supervisory and practice development roles, supporting colleagues and enhancing team learning 📚
- Implement corporate parenting principles, ensuring adolescents have stability, security, and opportunities to succeed 🏡
What We're Looking For:
✔️ Social Work qualification and registration with Social Work England
✔️ ASYE + at least 3 years post-qualification experience
✔️ Experience in supervisory/practice development roles
✔️ Strong knowledge of care and pathway planning processes
✔️ Understanding of relevant legislation, including the Children Act 1989 and Children (Leaving Care) Act 2000 ⚖️
✔️ Ability to build positive relationships with adolescents, families, and partner agencies 🤝
✔️ Flexible approach to meet the needs of adolescents and the service
