As a Senior Social Worker, you'll combine your clinical expertise, leadership skills, and compassion to support adults living with severe and enduring mental health challenges. This is a dynamic and rewarding role with real impact. ๐
๐งพ Key Responsibilities:
๐งโโ๏ธ Manage a reduced but complex caseload, including Care Act assessments, safeguarding, and court work
๐ฅ Act as Duty Manager on a rota basis, triaging referrals and managing safeguarding concerns
๐งญ Deputise for the Team Manager and support the daily running of the team
๐ฃ๏ธ Be the social work voice in multi-agency meetings and decision-making
๐ค Work closely with community mental health teams, healthcare partners, and voluntary organisations
๐ฑ Mentor and supervise newly qualified social workers and apprentices
๐ Help screen and triage new referrals, ensuring effective and person-centred care
โ What We're Looking For:
โ๏ธ Qualified Social Worker (SWE Registered)
โ๏ธ Experience working with adults in mental health services
โ๏ธ Strong leadership and mentoring abilities
โ๏ธ Confident in complex case management and safeguarding
๐ง AMHP qualification - desirable but not essential
๐งโ๐ผ Willing to commit to a Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm schedule
๐ London-based or willing to travel to the area as required
