Location: Hull (HU2 9DB)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00
Pay Rate: Up to £35.00 per hour (Umbrella, DOE)
Contract Type: Full-time, Agency/Temporary
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Children's Social Worker to join our team in Hull. You will play a key role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, working closely with families and partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes.
As a Children's Social Worker, you'll manage a diverse caseload, undertake assessments, and provide support and interventions that make a lasting difference. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated practitioner who is passionate about improving the lives of children and their families.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out child and family assessments in line with statutory requirements.
Develop and implement care and protection plans tailored to each child's needs.
Work collaboratively with schools, health professionals, and partner agencies.
Manage a caseload efficiently, ensuring all documentation is completed to a high standard.
Attend case conferences, court proceedings, and multi-agency meetings as required.
Promote the safety and wellbeing of children and young people at all times.
Ensure all practice complies with legislative, policy, and procedural frameworks.
