Location: Apsley, Hemel Hempstead π’
Pay: LTD/UMBRELLA Β£37/hr π·
Hybrid: 3 days in office per week π₯οΈπ
Main Duties & Responsibilities π
- Work within Hertfordshire County Council's Family Safeguarding Team West.
- Provide support for children and families, using the "Family Safeguarding" approach π¨βπ©βπ§βπ¦.
- Collaborate with multi-agencies to achieve the best outcomes π€.
- Manage caseloads of under 20 children per Social Worker.
- Conduct assessments, care planning, reviews, and deliver welfare reports to conferences and court hearings βοΈ.
- Participate in training, including motivational interviewing π‘.
- Receive regular supervision based on case risk.
- Use iPads and work from various county "Touchdown" locations π±.
- Free on-site parking available π.
Person Specification β
- Qualified and Social Work England registered π
- Minimum 1 year post-ASYE experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills βοΈπ£οΈ
- Knowledge of legislation, guidance, policy, and procedures π
- Proficient in Microsoft Office π»
- Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle π
