What you'll be doing:
- Support in Setting up all types of fire exercises, including materials and clearing away of the resultant debris.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and undertake minor maintenance in all relevant training venues
- Cleaning of internal venue lighting. Cleaning drains, gullies, and interceptors
- Removal of wastewater from fire buildings
- To clean and service Operational Support equipment (training will be provided).
- To report all building and equipment defects and issues, aiding a quick and timely response to service requirements.
- To service or clean all sets, cylinders and ancillary equipment as required. (Training will be provided).
- To recharge and inspect used cylinders, maintaining records of all test and maintenance as directed.
- General driving duties, both on and off-site,
- Cleaning, drying, and re-stowing as required, of all Operational Support equipment on fire appliances and Specialist vehicles.
- Routine minor repair, cleaning of firefighting and rescue equipment, maintaining records of all test and maintenance carried out (training will be provided).
- To proactively assist in managing the Operational Support areas, maintaining the building and site general cleanliness.
- Any other duties that might be required from time to time by the Non-Mobile Stores Team Leader including supporting other Teams.
