About the Role

Join our professional Project Management team, supporting the Single Aisle Wing Value Stream Management (VSM) programme. You'll play a pivotal role in driving best practice project management governance, methods, and tools across a dynamic workstream, reporting to the Head of VSM, Project Team, or PM Office. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact on ramp-up governance and key enablement projects, while developing your skills in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Championing project management expertise and ensuring robust governance and practices are applied across the VSM team.
  • Working closely with project leaders and teams, providing coaching, awareness sessions, and constructive challenge to embed best practice.
  • Shaping project management methods and tools to suit the needs of each project or activity.
  • Supporting efficient communication and stakeholder management, aligning activities with interfacing projects and operations.
  • Promoting Agile ways of working and acting as Scrum Master where required.
  • Establishing end-to-end project plans, controlling changes, and identifying critical paths and Earned Value Management milestones.
  • Tracking performance against plans, analysing data to anticipate deviations, and proposing preventative or corrective actions.
  • Leading risk and opportunity management, maintaining registers, and providing regular updates to project leaders and risk officers.
  • Collaborating with Finance to monitor costs and progress, preparing reports, and delivering KPIs and dashboards for effective performance management.
  • Contributing to team reviews and supporting project management reviews and operational meetings.
  • Occasional business travel may be required.

What We're Looking For

  • Broad project management experience, ideally with exposure to risk management, budget management, scheduling, and contract management.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently at all levels.
  • Experience is valued over formal qualifications-if you have a track record of delivering results, we want to hear from you.
  • Flexible on industry background; transferable skills are welcome.

What's in It for You

  • Opportunity to work on high-profile projects within a leading aerospace organisation.
  • Supportive team culture focused on professional growth and development.
