🌟 Job Title: Social Worker Advanced (Children)
📍 Location: Ilkeston
🕘 Hours: Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:00
💷 Pay: Up to £26.63 per hour (umbrella)
About the Role:
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Advanced Social Worker (Children) to join our friendly team in Ilkeston. You will be supporting children and families through Child in Need assessments and court work, ensuring safety and wellbeing at every step.
Key Responsibilities:
👶 Manage a caseload of children requiring Child in Need assessments
⚖️ Conduct child protection investigations and prepare reports for court proceedings
⏱️ Ensure all work is completed on time, adhering to DCC policies and timescales
💻 Maintain accurate case records using Mosaic and other IT systems
🤝 Work collaboratively with multi-agency teams to support children and families
Essential Requirements:
✅ 3+ years post-qualifying experience as a Social Worker
⚖️ Experience in child protection and court work
🚗 Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
💻 Strong IT skills with experience in case management systems (Mosaic)
✍️ Excellent communication, organization, and report-writing skills
