Supply Chain Quality Manager

Location: Filton (minimum 60% onsite)

Hours: 35 hours per week (4.5 days, flexible between 7am-7pm)

Pay: £27.68/hr (PAYE) or £37.02/hr (Umbrella)

Security Clearance: BPSS+ (completed by Airbus Security)

Travel: Occasional travel within Europe

About the Role

Are you passionate about supply chain excellence and quality management? Join us as a Supply Chain Quality Manager and play a pivotal role in ensuring on-time, on-quality deliveries for Airbus civil aircraft programmes. You'll be part of a collaborative team, reporting to the Head of POELA, and work closely with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and external partners to drive continuous improvement and operational success.

What You'll Do

  • Build strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of parts to customers and production sites.
  • Partner with suppliers to support their development and enhance their capabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant requirements, working with cross-functional teams (programme, engineering, customer services, buyers).
  • Contribute to the "voice of the supply chain" within multi-functional teams.
  • Tackle challenges in a dynamic, evolving environment, proactively mitigating risks and resolving issues.
  • Gain exposure to a variety of manufacturing technologies and processes.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in supply chain management (industry flexibility considered).
  • Basic quality management experience is beneficial.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and influence others.
  • Problem-solving mindset, with knowledge of methodologies such as 8D, 9S, Ishikawa, or 5 Whys.
  • Project management skills and a willingness to learn.
  • Curiosity, assertiveness, and a collaborative approach.
