The UK's trusted Ministry of Defence partner, MBDA, is looking for an experienced UK IS Project Support to support live applications and project delivery. Additional tasks include performing projects to implement new software on-premises or in the cloud, extending the scope of existing software or upgrading the version of the software.

As a UK IS Project Support, the responsibilities aim to innovate and provide future-proofed solutions that are manageable and secure. The role will assist the Domain leads and project managers in delivering an increasing workload driven through multiple initiatives across the IS domains. The successful candidate will undertake support activities whilst taking the opportunity to develop skills in project management

What you'll get to do as a UK IS Project Support:

The Information Systems Team are responsible for supporting live applications and the delivery of projects.

IS performs studies on new solutions to improve and facilitate MBDA business activities to maintain today's needs for transversal collaboration tools, efficient online and virtual applications and meet the demands of remote working, bringing teams together to work effectively.

  • Assist in developing and maintaining the relevant methodology tools, templates, documentation, and reporting as required.
  • Assist with the change management activities associated with projects and applications within IS scope.
  • Assist with a range of finance tasks, including setting up and monitoring expenditure requisitions, financial tracking and being a point of contact on finance tasks for the team.
  • Support the project document library maintenance using the PM processes and tools.
  • Administration support to the Domain Leads in the UK.
  • Undertake review and management of enhancements.
  • Coordination of BAU activities.

What we're looking for:

  • Experience in a Project Support role in IT.
  • Good communication and motivational skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain relationships and work collaboratively across various organisational levels.
  • You must be a UK national or citizen and resided in the U.K. for at least five years to be eligible for the role (SC clearance requirement)
