๐ About the Role
We're looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Social Worker to join the Children's Access Team in Winsford.
In this key frontline role, you'll support the Team Manager in leading a high-quality, fast-paced service that acts as the front door for families across the continuum of need. You'll play a vital role in managing risk, making key threshold decisions, and ensuring timely, effective support for children, young people, and vulnerable adults.
๐งฉ Key Responsibilities
๐ฉโ๐ผ Support the Manager in delivering a high-quality Access Service
โ๏ธ Manage risk and make decisions around thresholds of need
๐ค Supervise and guide social workers, early support officers, i-ART officers, and multi-disciplinary staff
๐ Provide reflective supervision, daily support, and professional advice
๐งญ Contribute to the development of consistent, strengths-based practice
โ Requirements
๐ Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration
๐ผ Proven experience managing or supervising staff in Children's Services
๐ง Strong understanding of safeguarding procedures and thresholds
๐ฌ Excellent decision-making, communication, and leadership skills
๐ Driving licence and access to a car preferred
