🔹 About the Role
As a Social Worker, you will provide high-quality services to children, young people, and their families, safeguarding their welfare in line with statutory legislation, council policies, and departmental guidance. You will manage complex cases, work in multi-agency settings, and advocate for children's best interests.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
✨ Manage a caseload of complex and sensitive cases, including assessments, care planning, and reviews.
✨ Practice professionally following HCPC standards and social work ethics.
✨ Support and mentor less experienced colleagues and students.
✨ Take statutory actions when necessary to protect children's safety.
✨ Prepare court reports and represent children's services in legal proceedings.
✨ Build strong partnerships with agencies like Education, Health, Police, and Voluntary Sector.
✨ Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality.
🔹 What We're Looking For
✔️ Qualified Social Worker (HCPC registered)
✔️ Experience within Children's Services is essential
✔️ Ability to work autonomously with complex cases
✔️ Strong communication and decision-making skills
✔️ Compassionate, creative, and resilient approach
