Pay Rate: Up to £33.30 per hour (Umbrella, in line with MOU)
About the Role
Staffordshire County Council is seeking experienced Social Workers, Senior Social Workers, and Advanced/Senior Practitioners to join the Stafford Duty Hub. This is a key frontline service supporting children, adolescents, and families at the point of need, ensuring timely assessments, effective safeguarding, and proportionate interventions.
This role offers the opportunity to work within a structured, well-supported duty environment, alongside experienced professionals who are committed to delivering high-quality statutory practice and positive outcomes for children and families.

Key Responsibilities
Undertake initial child and family assessments
Complete Section 47 enquiries where required
Assess risk and need to support timely, informed decision-making
Safeguard children and adolescents in line with statutory guidance
Work collaboratively with families and multi-agency partners
Maintain accurate, timely, and high-quality case recording
Pay Rates (Set in Line with MOU)
Band 1 - Social Worker
ASYE completed with a minimum of 2 years' experience
£28.55 per hour (Umbrella)
Band 2 - Senior Social Worker
ASYE completed with a minimum of 3 years' experience
£30.57 per hour (Umbrella)
Advanced / Senior Practitioner / Assistant Team Manager
(Meets all above criteria, plus:)
Management of a complex caseload
Supervisory and/or practice development responsibilities
Contribution to the learning and development of others
£33.30 per hour (Umbrella)
