The role
Warren Park provides permanent placements for up to 5 children and young people with learning disabilities, emotional and behavioural difficulties and associated additional needs aged between 8 - 18 years old. As a Team leader your aim is to positively lead and support a team of workers to ensure that a safe and friendly environment is provided for the service users.
You will make a difference by:
- Leading and assessing staff, carrying out supervisions, appraisals and risk assessments.
- Staff Rotas.
- Adhering to Safeguarding policies and procedures.
- Reporting and Recording in line with the children's regulations and quality standard.
- Processing referrals and gathering essential information.
- Conducting detailed children assessments to enable the effective delivery of the service.
- Working closely with families in meeting the needs of their children.
- Working closely with social workers and other professionals.
- Attending multi agency meetings.
- Advocating in the absence of the home's manager.
- Undertaken training to ensure you are suitably qualified in accordance with the needs of the home
You will need:
- Minimum of a Level 3 Qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
- Driver's Licence and access to own car.
- To be IT literate.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience in a supervisory role in the Social Care field.
- Flexibility and the willingness to go the extra mile.
