The role
The GEN R 8 Project provides a housing support service to young people with a connection to the North East area of Glasgow.
The people who use the service are aged 16 - 25 years and are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. We are looking for a registered manager to lead our team of practitioners and be responsible for the day to day running of the service.
You will make a difference by:
-Managing a team to deliver a consistently high quality Service.
-Promoting the work of the service in a positive manner and represent the organisation as necessary.
-Delivering excellent results in line with regulatory requirements.
-Identifying new service growth and initiative that would promote the development of health and wellbeing work both locally and nationally.
-Establishing an easily accessible and effective system to ensure that people we work with are safeguarded.
-Achieving the aims and objectives across the services in accordance with the values and principles of the organisation.
You will need:
-An SVQ 4 in Health and Social Care or already be working towards the qualification.
-Recent experience of working within services that support several client groups.
-Experience in supporting staff through reflective supervision practices.
-Experience of multi -agency working.
-Experience of safely managing finance systems.
