We're looking for an experienced Senior Social Worker to join Children's Services in the East Riding of Yorkshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who's confident, child-focused, and ready to make a real difference πΆβ€οΈ
π About the Role
As a Senior Social Worker, you'll:
Manage a complex caseload involving children and families
Carry out assessments, care planning, and safeguarding work
Provide professional guidance and support to less experienced social workers
Work closely with multi-agency partners to achieve the best outcomes for children
Ensure all work meets statutory requirements and local authority standards
β What We're Looking For
Qualified Social Worker (Social Work England registered)
Significant experience within Children's Services
Strong knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and relevant legislation
Ability to work independently and make sound professional decisions
Excellent communication and report-writing skills βοΈ
