We're looking for an experienced Senior Social Worker to join our Children's Disability Service in North East Lincolnshire. This is a fast-paced and rewarding role, ideal for someone confident managing complex statutory work and ready to hit the ground running 💪
You'll be working within a supportive team of permanent social workers, with guidance from two highly experienced Practice Supervisors and a Service Lead 🤝
👩👧👦 Key Responsibilities:
✨ Undertake statutory Child & Family Assessments (CA 89)
✨ Work under the Chronically Sick and Disabled Act
✨ Manage Child in Need, Child Protection, and Looked After Children care plans
✨ Chair and contribute to relevant safeguarding meetings
✨ Assess risk to children with disabilities
✨ Identify and coordinate short break services
✨ Manage Children in Care and associated statutory duties
✨ Undertake court work when required
✨ Provide Transition Plans for adolescents
✨ Engage effectively with children and adolescents, including those who are non-verbal or have communication difficulties
