🌟 Social Worker Children - Matlock 🌟
Location: Matlock / South Derbyshire
Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00 ⏰
Pay: Up to £26.63/hour 💷 (umbrella)
About the Role:
Join our Children with Disabilities Service as a Supervising Social Worker, providing regular supervision to foster carers to ensure practice meets national minimum standards ✅. You'll be supported with regular supervision from our management team to help you succeed. These roles focus on serving the south of Derbyshire where possible, so it's essential you have your own mode of transport 🚗 and are able to travel across the area.
What You'll Do:
👶 Supervise foster carers regularly to maintain high standards of care
📝 Write detailed reports, including annual reviews for foster carers
⚖️ Present reports and cases at panel meetings confidently
🤝 Work closely with foster carers, children, and the wider team
📋 Keep accurate records and documentation in line with legal and service requirements
Requirements:
✔️ Minimum 3 years' experience in Children's Social Work
✔️ Experience with legal processes, court work, and foster carer supervision
✔️ Passionate about supporting children and families
✔️ Own mode of transport and ability to travel within south Derbyshire
✔️ Able to work Monday to Friday, 9-5
