Pay: £17.76 per hour (PAYE) / £23.44 per hour (Umbrella)
Contract: Temp to Perm
Hours: Shift pattern - Early (7:30am-3:30pm) / Late (2pm-10pm). Includes 1-2 weekends per month and a week of late shifts each month.
DBS: Enhanced (Children & Adults)

About the Role
We are looking for passionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our vibrant 5-bed unit in Lewisham. You will play a key role in empowering young people aged 16-17 at risk of homelessness, as well as care leavers aged 18-21, helping them to build independence and brighter futures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide face-to-face support, mentoring, and tailored life coaching programmes.

  • Support young people to develop independent living skills (budgeting, cooking, cleaning).

  • Foster community engagement and positive local relationships.

  • Deliver trauma-informed emotional and psychological support.

  • Guide young people in making positive life choices and building resilience.

  • Assist with social welfare benefit applications and attend meetings with young people.

  • Carry out property management tasks including health & safety checks and maintenance reporting.

  • Monitor rent collection and address arrears in line with policies.

  • Respond to safeguarding concerns promptly and responsibly.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience supporting young people (preferred).

  • Understanding of safeguarding and trauma-informed practice.

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

  • Ability to work shifts, including weekends.

  • A genuine passion for empowering young people to achieve independence.
