An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Adult Advanced Social Worker to join the Adult Social Care Team in Derbyshire.
You'll be working with adults who need care and support, applying your expertise to assess needs, manage risk, and promote independence and wellbeing. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about empowering adults to live fulfilling lives within their communities.
🧩 Key Responsibilities
🏠 Carry out assessments and develop person-centred care plans
🤝 Work collaboratively with service users, carers, and multi-agency teams
📋 Complete safeguarding enquiries and mental capacity assessments
🧭 Provide professional guidance and support to less experienced team members
🧠 Contribute to service development and continuous improvement initiatives
✅ Requirements
🎓 Degree in Social Work, with current Social Work England registration
💼 At least 3 years' post-qualifying experience in Adult Social Care
🧩 Strong knowledge of the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, and Safeguarding Adults procedures
🚗 Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (desirable)
